CET Faculty Fellow Alison Renteln & guest speakers, Richard John, Associate Professor of Psychology and Marlene Wagner, Assistant Dean, Social Work, and former chair of the UPC Institutional Review Board, will explore ethical issues in academic research.

CET Faculty Fellow Alison Renteln and guest speakers, Richard John, Associate Professor of Psychology and Marlene Wagner, Assistant Dean, Social Work, and former chair of the UPC Institutional Review Board, will explore ethical issues in academic research, including using human subjects in research, conducting research overseas, drug testing on pregnant women and children, using deception in psych. research, and paying subjects for research, in addition to discussing the IRB process and federal guidelines.
