A new USC exhibit of photographs in the Gallery of Ralph and Goldy Lewis Hall explores memorials or roadside shrines. "The Place of Memory: Roadside Shrines and Memorials in Los Angeles and in America" will run through the end of June.

The creation of David Sloane, professor in the School of Policy, Planning, and Development, and Beverlie Conant Sloane, research associate professor in the Keck School of Medicine of USC, the exhibit is based on the couple's study of memorials throughout Los Angeles and the U.S. in recent years.
