The Center for Black Cultural and Student Affairs (CBCSA) is here to welcome you to the Trojan family at the University of Southern California. CBCSA is a department that works toward creating an optimal learning environment for African descended members and the Trojan family at large.

CBCSA's primary goal is the retention of Black students as they matriculate through the Trojan experience toward graduation while maintaining a holistic environment that students can develop academically, culturally professionally and socially.

We, the administrators of CBCSA, are both pleased and excited to announce that we have 40 African American academic and social clubs and organizations. There is something for every student. From Blacks in Action (BIA), to the Black Business Student Association (BBSA), to Sisters In Spirit (SIS), to Black Greek Letter Organizations (NPHC) and many more. There is a group for almost every interest and major.

CBCSA, the Black Student Assembly, and the Black student organizations have partnered to offer a variety of informative academic programs, social activities, and multicultural events. Look for these events to promote academic excellence and encourage UNITY among African American students, staff, faculty and the surrounding community of USC. CBCSA aims to provide many opportunities for students to become leaders both on and off campus.

So "help us, help you" have a positive experience here at USC. Please stop by the office, located in Student Union 415 (STU 415), to make an introduction to CBCSA's staff and become familiar with our services.
