USC Curriculum Coordination Office

General Information

The Curriculum Coordination Office (CCO) coordinates the review of curriculum proposals. It is the liaison between departments, the University Committee on Curriculum (UCOC), Catalogue, Degree Progress and Registration.

The CCO staffs the following committees:

CCO archives all curriculum proposals, subcommittee reports, and minutes of all curriculum and policy and procedure committee meetings. Minutes of the UCOC meetings may be viewed on the Minutes page of this website.

Submitting Proposals

Submit all program, minor and course proposals via the Curriculum Management System (CMS).

For off-campus programs, please refer to the OSP: Instructions and Forms page.

Submit Special Topics 499 and 599 course proposals (scheduled in sessions 001-099) with course syllabi via Kuali. If the Special Topics course needs a special session, submit the Special Session Request Form to and wait to receive the session number from before submitting the Kuali request.

Proposals for the 2015 General Education (GE) program may be submitted by a designated representative of each academic unit to the GE Drop-box site at Questions regarding GE proposals should be directed to Richard Fliegel,
