USC Curriculum Coordination Office
The Curriculum Coordination Office (CCO) coordinates the review of curriculum proposals by curriculum committees and the university administration, and is the liaison between departments and University Publications. These records, which are maintained by the CCO, are used to create the printed and online USC Catalogue and Schedule of Classes, and to determine degree requirements. Minutes of all standing and ad hoc curriculum committee meetings as well as curriculum proposals are archived by the CCO.
The CCO staffs the following committees:
- University Committee on Curriculum (UCOC) and its four subcommittees: Arts and Humanities (AHS), Health Professions (HPS), Science and Engineering (SES) and Social Sciences (SSS)
- Diversity Requirement Committee (DRC)
- Off-campus Studies Panel (OSP)
- Committee on Academic Policies and Procedures (CAPP)
All program, minor and course proposals are submitted by departments via the Curriculum Management System. Curriculum requests related to General Education and the Writing Committee should be submitted directly to firstname.lastname@example.org or sent via campus mail to MC 0153. For off-campus programs and diversity review requests, please refer to the OSP and DRC: Instructions and Forms page.
Our office hours are from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. Please send questions to email@example.com or call 213-740-1162.
