Third Party Requests
In order to provide 24 hours a day, 7 days a week degree checking services for alumni, students, and employers around the world, the University of Southern California has contracted with the National Student Clearinghouse to provide such services.
To obtain degree and enrollment information, please visit our provider National Student Clearinghouse for access and general information. To use this service you must register your company information with the National Student Clearinghouse. Note: As of January 31, 2005, verbal verification of academic information will no longer be offered.
Third party requests made in person or by postal mail for verifications containing grade point average information (GPA) must be accompanied by a written authorization from the owner of the record specifically identifying that person as his / her agent. The third party must present a photo ID as well as a copy of the record owner's valid photo ID. This is a compliance requirement of the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA).
Methods of payment are: personal or company check (made payable to the University of Southern California), U.S. money order, and the following credit cards: VISA, MasterCard, and Discover. Cash is not accepted.
