J&A Training

This is an experiment being conducted at The ATRIUM Laboratory, School of Business Administration, University of Southern California. Its purpose is to use WWW to deliver just-in-time and continuous process improvement and the subsequent training necessary to the successful deployment of the improved process.

This home page serves two purposes:

to provide an overview of the J&A process,
to train NAWCWPNS contracting staff the operations in J&A.

Justification and Approval (J&A) is one of the major processes within the NAWCWPNS Procurement Department. Here is the process flow of J&A, which has been represented via a screen from an executable simulation model.
