Home Department Coordinator

Each USC department has a home department coordinator who is responsible for maintaining the payroll and personnel records in your department, and who is the best person to answer your questions about the deductions and reductions taken from your paycheck. If you don't know who your home department coordinator is, check your listing in the USCWeb directory. Your home department coordinator is listed at the bottom of the page.

 

Online W-2 Delivery

Sign up now to access and download your W-2 information online in January of each year. You'll be notified via e-mail at the earliest possible opportunity in January to access and download your W-2 information. Go to www/theworknumber.com and follow the simple steps to sign up for electronic W-2 delivery. You will need to login with USC's employer code (11496). Your initial pin number is the last four digits of your Social Security number and the 4-digits of the year you were born.

 

Payroll Direct Deposit

Sign up for direct deposit to avoid waiting in line at the bank on payday. The net amount of your paycheck will be electronically deposited into one or more accounts in the financial institutions that you designate. Generally your net pay will be available no later than 8 a.m. on payday. Check out the "CashPay" option as well. It is another form of direct deposit. For details on direct deposit, log on to www.usc.edu/payroll and choose Payroll FAQ—Direct Deposit Questions.
