Travel Assistance Program

The AXA Travel Assistance and Emergency Evacuation Plan provides assistance for participants who are traveling more than 100 miles from their permanent residence. Services respond to a broad range of traveler's nightmares: being hospitalized or needing legal services while abroad, needing medical evacuation cross-country or from abroad, or having money or travel documents stolen.

All services under the plan must be pre-approved and arranged by the program when a need for service occurs. Brochures with details of the program are available from your benefits office. Participants should cutout and carry the information cards on this page with them when they travel. Remember to make copies for your dependents if covered by the program.

Travelers who will be temporarily residing 100 miles or more from their permanent residence due to business needs should purchase international and travel health insurance.
