Assistant Lecturer Positions at the ALI

The American Language Institute invites current and incoming USC graduate students to apply for Assistant Lecturer positions. These positions are essentially teaching assistantships. They are only available to incoming or currently enrolled graduate students at USC. Successful applicants will teach intermediate to advanced English Language to international students at USC. Preference will be given to graduate students in doctoral programs, and to those who are in graduate programs in the College of Letters, Arts, and Sciences, and to applicants who have the most relevant background and experience.

Assistant Lecturers currently receive a stipend from the university of $19,300 per year and 12 units of tuition remission per semester. Health insurance is also provided by the university.   2. Mail, fax or email a letter of application expressing your interest in the position, describing your qualifications, and discussing your long term professional goals.
  3. Mail, fax or email your curriculum vitae.
