	Research Interests: My research focuses on the theory and application of machine learning. I have worked on a number of research projects including speech and object recognition, manifold learning, optimization algorithms for large margin classifiers and etc. Recently, I have been interested in some problems in computational biology as well as applying machine learning techniques to problems in distributed computer systems and networks.
