- Batch BLAST:
- Blast all your sequences on a single click of the mouse.
- The NCBI database is installed locally and updated regularly. Hence, no waiting in the queue.
- Results of all blasts are tabulated in an excel sheet with links to the blast and Genbank pages.
- DNA sequence database & UI:
- MySQL database is designed to store all of the sequence analysis results.
- Data entry is done automatically using a Perl script.
- Queries are run via a web interface developed using HTML, JavaScript, SQL and Perl.
- Provision for selecting sequences of your liking and making a FASTA file which will be accepted by sequence alignment and phylogeny programs.
