Aimee Bender is the author of 3 books: The Girl in the Flammable Skirt, An Invisible Sign of My Own, and Willful Creatures; her short fiction has been published in Harper's, GQ, Granta, The Paris Review, Tin House, McSweeney's and more, as well as widely anthologized and heard on PRI's This American Life.

She has received two Pushcart Prizes, and has been translated into seven languages.
