Financial Assistance

Students admitted to the Ph.D. Program in Literature and Creative Writing receive financial support and assistance from several sources:

• Teaching Assistantships, offered each year in the Writing Program and in the English Department, provide tuition remission and a stipend at the current rate.
• Virginia Middleton Fellowships will be available for beginning and advanced (M.A. or M.F.A.) graduate students. Extremely competitive as we are currently only able to offer one Middleton per year.
