Category V: Arts and Letters
These courses aim at depth of knowledge and development of students' interpretive skills through intellectual engagement with major works of philosophy, literature, art, film, or music. Arts and Letters 100g classes are writing-intensive and limited to thirty students, primarily freshmen and sophomores, to promote direct interaction between students and faculty.
