Economic Summit the first four annual Southern California programs were made possible through partnership Host Sponsor Center for International Business Education and Research - CIBER, Marshall School of Business at USC Regional Sponsors Wells Fargo and Union Bank of California California Sponsor California Trade Education Council - CTEC Western States of the 12th District Sponsor Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco The Southern California IES 2003-2006 was managed by the Center for Active Learning in International Studies - CALIS at USC IES is a program of the Idaho Council on Economic Education at Boise State University In 2007, the Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco was able to begin expansion of the program in the nine states of the 12th District with a license from the Idaho Council... and you can be part of the great westward expansion! CALIS is honored to have supported the launch and 4-year establishment of IES in Southern California... IES is an interactive economics curriculum and international trade simulation. Economics
teachers are supported by the program to include all of their economics
classes. The summit training and professional development program demonstrate
how to implement the curriculum which integrates
into a semester course over 8-10 weeks and culminates in a classroom or
school-based simulaton for all economics students. |
