TIRP - the Teaching International Relations Program - is known for our dedicated volunteers, our creative and interactive events, and our overall excellence in the teaching of international relations.

TIRP volunteers are active representatives of both CALIS and the School of International Relations, serving as capable teachers to secondary students at local high schools as well as being responsible and exemplary ambassadors of the program. Our volunteers are also the driving force behind the annual High School Leadership Conference.

Being a TIRP volunteer can be a rewarding experience - as both a teacher and a member of an undergraduate team working together to develop an engaging presentation. To facilitate this working environment, CALIS is dedicated to helping our volunteers make the most of their efforts. In addition, many USC professors offer individual course credit in support of volunteers' participation in the program (ask us about this if you're curious).

The energy, expertise, and creativity of our undergraduate volunteers make TIRP outreach and the High School Leadership Conference possible!
