80 Years of Excellence in Research and Teaching...
The School of IR was founded in 1924, making it the third-oldest professional school of international relations in the world. Throughout our 80 year history the School has pursued excellence as both a research institution with top-rate scholars and challenging programs of study at the undergraduate and graduate level; and also as a school produces leaders in the foreign service, academic, and global communities.
With that in mind our 80th Anniversary Celebration will involve events that focus on all of our different constituencies. The Center for International Studies will host a professional academic conference. IRUA and SIR will sponsor an undergraduate academic conference. For alumni we're putting on a tailgate party and will host a series of events featuring SIR alums who are prominent in national policy and academic circles. We will also host events open to the entire USC community.
Keep checking this page as we update the current list of upcoming events. For more details on any particular event please contact Nadja Habinek at nhabinek@usc.edu. To join our mailing list (email or regular post), please fill out the Alumni Update form.
