SCR is proud to announce the arrival of Volume I!
Formerly known as the Southern California Anthology, SCR is the literary journal of the Master of Professional Writing (MPW) program at the University of Southern California (USC). It has been publishing fiction and poetry since 1982 and now also accepts submissions of creative nonfiction, plays, and screenplays. Printed every October and April with original cover artwork, every issue contains new, emerging, and established authors.
We are no longer accepting entries for the 20th Annual Ann Stanford Poetry Prize. Judging is taking place now. The results will be announced later this spring, and the winners will be published in the fall 2008 issue of SCR.
The deadline for SCR's 1st Annual Fiction Prize has been extended. In addition, we are now accepting entries for the 21st Annual Ann Stanford Poetry Prize. For guidelines and entry forms, click on the "Contests" link below.
