"People listen to traffic reports every work day; the information is important to them in a very practical way. Because it is so important, the subtle cues, phrases and feel of traffic reports have a tremendous effect on choices made by motorists. If we can identify cues and phrases that remind drivers about safety and still sound great over the air we will have done a great service for the people of California. I think we can and am excited at the opportunity to try."
