he Media and Injury Prevention Program (MIPP) is an innovative attempt to use traffic reports as a mechanism to promote better driving. This web page provides the history, details and ideas behind the project. We think this page will be useful to people interested in transportation, communication and media research, as well as those involved in radio production. ipp has finally claimed a piece of the net through this WEB site. We've outlined the major areas of the project and provided links to other transportation resources . This page will be updated weekly, as information pertinent to the project becomes available. Ongoing studies in WEB traffic reporting are yielding new insights into, not only the various methods of traffic reporting production, but also communication in general.
