Day-to-Day at USC Child Care | As Your Child Grows

As Your Child Grows

As your child grows older, we will take the same care transitioning to a new program as we did when your child first began attending. The master/head teachers of both the old and new program will work with you to develop a transition plan. This will include visits to the new program for both you and your child. The teachers will work with your administrative office to determine the start date in the new program. Children already in a program are given priority for available spaces. You will need to complete a new monthly fee agreement for the new program and program-specific forms, which help us plan for your child's development in various areas of self-sufficiency such as eating, dressing, and toilet-training. You may have noticed that your child care fees will be lower as your child gets older. The lower fees are primarily because of higher child to teacher ratios for older children.
