Yard Renovation Gallery
The newly renovated yards at UPC reopened on Monday, November 6. Along the way we ran into some of the typical bumps of any construction project. We thank USC Facilities Management Services and the contractor for adapting plans and schedules as needed and making every effort to keep the project moving forward at all times. The first phase was completed at the end of August and included the largely invisible but very important work of a drainage upgrade. The toddler play space was also restored, including a new grassy area, outdoor carpeting, a ramp replacing the toddler stairs and a new toy corral. The second and third phase work took place in the preschool play spaces and included a new shaded sand structure, raised platform for creative play, a new grassy area and a permanent water play feature. Thank you to all the parents and staff for your patience in managing the parking and access changes during the construction.
