New Student Orientation

What is NSO?

· An orientation program into life as a cadet at AFROTC Detachment 060

· A chance to learn more about what you can expect in AFROTC and what AFROTC will expect from you

· An opportunity to visit the detachment, meet faculty and current cadets, and register for AFROTC classes

 

Who should attend NSO?

· Any prospective cadet for the AFROTC program

· Anyone interested in learning about the Air Force or military life in general

 

 

 

When is NSO?

· The NSO scheduled for 9 Jan (Saturday), 2010 at 9:00 a.m. and includes a welcome briefing by the Commandant of Cadets, Unit Admissions Officer and the Detachment Commander for parents and prospective cadets. Light snack are provided in the morning followed by a BBQ lunch cooked by our own cadets!

 

Where is NSO?

· NSO will be held at the Ralph and Goldie Lewis Auditorium on the USC campus (quadrant F6 in the linked map).

 

Why you should attend NSO

· NSO is a great way to bond with your future AFROTC classmates and make friends before  college begins

· NSO will provide an opportunity to register for AFROTC classes
