Distinguished Visitors
Every year, high ranking military officials participate in the opening ceremonies. Guest speakers have included commanders from LAAFB and other local military bases.
The Competition
Cadets from all over the nation are encouraged to participate in SCIDM. The competition concludes with the presentation of trophies at the Awards Ceremony.
Judges
Teams are judged by notorious Marine Corps Drill Instructors from the Marine Corps Recruit Depot in San Diego. The animated judges offer a unique feature to SCIDM that isn’t found anywhere else.
