The Straight Scoop on Scholarships

There are several ways to earn an AFROTC scholarship, and there is plenty of AFROTC scholarship money available to help you attain your educational goals. Each year, AFROTC pays out close to $70 million in scholarship entitlements to students just like you. If you did not earn a scholarship coming out of high school, you still have plenty of opportunities to earn up to your university’s full tuition cost in scholarship entitlements during your first two years in our program, regardless of your class standing (Freshman, Sophomore, Junior, Senior) in your academic program. Last year, Detachment 060 cadets earned over $600,000 in scholarship entitlements from AFROTC and tens of thousands more from our close affiliation with several private scholarship organizations.
