Now 87, Shulman can rest on his laurels by collecting his thoughts and observations on architecture in his autobiography, soon to be published by Taschen. This illustrious career now spanning 62 years has firmly established him as a pivotal figure in the history of Los Angeles. And, once again inspired by current architecture, Shulman has photographed Richard Meier's J. Paul Getty Center, and has been invited to photograph the Guggenheim in Bilbao, Spain, by Frank Gehry.
