Dr. Jennifer Castro

Beginning her 4th year with the staff, Dr. Jennifer Castro has dual duties as the Life Skills Coordinator and Learning Specialist. After completing her undergraduate work at the University of Wyoming and earning her Bachelor's Degree in Psychology, Jennifer stayed to earn her Master's Degree in Counselor Education. She then went on to earn her Ph.D in Counseling Psychology from Michigan State University. At Michigan State, Jennifer worked with injured student-athletes and taught four years of Substance Abuse and Educational Psychology courses. For 2 years, Jennifer worked at the UC Davis Counseling Center, primarily with student-athletes. Jennifer and her husband, Charlie, have a 5 year-old daughter, Mariah.
