Susie Cognetta

Beginning her seventh year in SAAS, Susie Cognetta serves as an Academic Counselor and Learning Specialist.

She received her Master’s in Counseling from Cal State University Dominguez Hills as well as her PPS credential in School Psychology and School Counseling.

Susie graduated with a B.S. in General Studies with a minor in Spanish from the University of Southern California where she earned a Multiple Subject Teaching Credential with a BCLAD in Spanish. Susie received an athletic scholarship for soccer (1997-2001). She was a member of the Women’s Mexican National Soccer Team for 6 years and participated in the 1999 Women’s World Cup. She loves to run half-marathons and marathons.
