Dr. Denise Kwok

Dr. Denise Kwok, who begins her fourth year with SAAS, will be a liaison to the DSP Office on campus and work as a Learning Specialist with new and continuing student-athletes. Denise earned her Bachelor's Degree in Psychology and Asian American Studies from the University of California, Berkeley before earning her Master’s Degree in Education Counseling and then her Ph.D. in Education (Counseling Psychology) both from USC. While in graduate school, Denise worked at USC’s DSP office as a graduate assistant, while also working as a teaching assistant for several classes, including EDPT 110. She completed her pre-doctoral psychology internship at the UC Berkeley Student Counseling Center. Denise lived in Taiwan for a year and a half studying Chinese and teaching English after graduating from Berkeley. She loves to travel. Born in Harvard, Massachusetts, Denise was raised in the San Francisco Bay Area in Tiburon, CA. Denise is married to Dr. Roy Fu.
