Dr. Denise Kwok

Dr. Denise Kwok, who begins her eighth year with SAAS, coordinates the Directed Studies program, works with student athletes as a learning specialist, and is also the liaison to the Disability Services and Programs office and the Writing Program on campus. Denise earned her Bachelor's Degree in Psychology and Asian American Studies from the University of California, Berkeley before earning her M.Ed. and Ph.D. in Education (Counseling Psychology) from USC. She is interested in working with students with Learning Disabilities and AD/HD and enjoys uncovering their many talents and gifts. She loves to travel, feast on gourmet food, and spend time with family. She has two young children, Madelyn and Tyler. Denise is originally from the San Francisco Bay Area.
