Jason Pappas

Jason Pappas enters his second year as an assistant athletic director at the University of Southern California for Student-Athlete Academic Services. He comes to USC from the University of South Carolina.

Jason served seven and half years as a member of the academic support team for the University of South Carolina Athletic Department. He served as Director of Academic Support and had primary responsibility for football and baseball academic progress. As a Director of Academic Support for the University of South Carolina, Jason oversaw the academic progress of the Academic Enrichment Center. He helped oversee the baseball and football students in registration, academic eligibility, tutoring and on-campus issues. Jason will begin his first year in the doctoral program in education at the University of Southern California.

Jason graduated from Florida State University in 1996 with a Bachelor of Science in Business Communications. He earned a Master’s of Science from Florida State University in 1998 in Sports Administration. In December of 2001, Jason earned a Master’s of Education degree in Educational Administration from the University of South Carolina.

Jason was born on June 26, 1974 in Las Vegas, Nev. He and his wife Dr. Cara Pappas were married on June 24, 2000. They have a son, Anthony Mason, born on September 11, 2003.
