3rd Annual TMB Basketball Classic April 27, 2008
The 3rd Annual TMB Basketball Classic will take place from 10am to 7pm at the North Gym of the Physical Education building (PED) on the USC Campus. This year's format will be a double elimination format and, for the first time, every section is expected to compete. Rising From Ruin		About Halftime Magazine
In this issue, we featured the L.E. Rabouin High School band's trip to Southern California in August. To read about their trials and resurgence, click here: Rising From Ruin   2007 Year-in-Review It was another busy year for The Spirit of Troy as band members traveled nearly two times around the world! Get on the road with the TMB: 2007 Year-in-Review		Halftime Magazine, a print magazine and online community about the marching arts, has featured the Trojan Marching Band in three of its first four issues. The current issue features the tuba section on the front cover as well as a large photo spread on the Rose Bowl and Parade, with especially large photos of the USC Silks, trumpets, and drum line. The July/August issue featured an article following a new freshman member’s experience at band camp and the Sept/Oct issue detailed The Spirit of Troy’s close relationship with Pete Carroll and the Trojan football team. Christine Ngeo Katzman, founder of Halftime Magazine, marched in the Northwestern University Marching Band and earned her MBA at USC’s Marshall School of Business. Dr. Bartner and Associate Director Tony Fox both serve on Halftime Magazine’s advisory board, and several band members work and write for the magazine as editorial interns. Halftime Magazine covers all aspects of the marching band world from high school to drum corps, the current issue features the Rose Bowl and all of the BCS bowl bands.
