The 2005 BCS National Championship Game at the FedEx Orange Bowl was a historic night for USC. The Trojan football team thrashed the Oklahoma Sooners team 55-19 and the Spirit of Troy presented one of it's best pregame shows ever, including the traditional "Fanfare," "Tribute to Troy," "Fight On!" and "Conquest," along with a special version of "TUSK." On January 1st, 2008, The Spirit of Troy marched into the Rose Bowl, yet again, to take on the Fighting Illini of the University of Illinois. The football team picked up a historic 633 yards against their Big-Ten nemesis, putting up a score of 17-49, and the TMB put on the show of the year...even though it had just begun. The 1st of January seems to be a never-ending cycle to Rose Bowls for the Trojan Football Team, and Spirit of Troy. Attending their fourth straight Rose Bowl, this one ended in typical Trojan style -- with a win. Rolling over Paterno's Nittany Lions with a score of 38-24, the TMB then put on an incredible halftime show, featuring "Woman," "Almost Easy," and "The Hand That Feeds."

On June 18th, 2009, the Trojan Marching Band performed on the "The Tonight Show with Conan O'Brien".
