What is the USC Train?
The USC Train is a first-class train trip from Los Angeles to Oregon for USC Fans and Alumni. USC Train passengers enjoy luxury accommodations aboard the Amtrak Coast Starlight train route, including private first-class train cabins, an onboard movie theater, a full bar, free onboard meals, and a comfortable cocktail lounge. Passengers are entertained by multiple pep rallies en route, performed by USC marching band members and USC Song Girls, as well as numerous games and activities. When is the USC Train?
The USC Train takes passengers from Los Angeles to Oregon on Thursday, November 18. It's an overnight trip, arriving in beautiful Eugene, OR on Friday afternoon. After a pep rally in Eugene, passengers are free to enjoy the variety of restaurants, shops, and nightlife on their own. Saturday is the football game. Most passengers return home on Sunday. How much does the USC Train cost and what's included?
The USC Train only costs $500 per cabin. Each cabin can accommodate up to two passengers:
* First-class rail fare from LA to Oregon
* Free pep rallies en route
* All meals and activities aboard the train
Football game tickets to the USC at Oregon State game are available to USC Train passengers for $100 each (at or below purchase price). Tickets may only be purchased by passengers with a reservation.
Passengers are responsible for their own lodging expenses in Oregon and transportation back home. The Eugene Hilton is the "official" USC Train hotel, and passengers can receive a group rate at the hotel for being a member of the USC group.
