Cabinet Members

President, Nicole Smith

Nicole is a Business major with an Entrepreneurial emphasis. She believes part of her mission on this Earth is to improve the social and political position of those of African ancestry across the globe. Nicole is especially concerned with the nurturing and development of young Black minds since the youth must be equipped to carry on the mission once her generation can no longer. She turns her concern for youth into action as she volunteers her time, on a weekly basis, to tutor and be a mentor for "at-risk" youth.

Vice President, Tiffany Coln

Tiffany is a Senior Business major with an emphasis in Management and Business Communications. Along with her participation in BBSA, she is also active in the community and her church. Originally from the San Francisco Bay Area, Tiffany eventually plans on returning there to give back to the community that gave her so much. After graduating from USC she would like to go into Human Resources or Labor Relations; then go on to get a Masters or Law Degree . Tiffany's long term interest is in African American youth. They are the future of the African American community and they deserve access to all this world has to offer. She plans on helping to remove some of the barriers that stand in their way by teaching the skills necessary to survive in the work world.

Ian is also the President of the Somerville Scholars, a student organization at USC geared toward the learning of African-American history & culture while having fun with other students. Corporate Liaison, Carla Yorke

Carla is a senior in the entrepreneur program at USC. She strongly believes that it is up to her people to make a difference in their economic and social situations. By starting her own business, she wants to make an impact in areas where many people, including her own, have neglected. Ultimately, she would like to establish institutions that help inner city teenagers, who are interested in attending college, make that dream come true. Her goal is to give to them insight into what makes a successful college experience, and in the process she is making attending college a reality for these disadvantaged youth. She is currently spending her summer interning at an advertising and promotion agency, while attending summer school and dedicating time to BBSA. Any and all suggestions, ideas and/or comments are welcome from all.
