Overview: ICPC14 at a Glance...

• All Conference events take place in the Cincinnati Hyatt Hotel.
• Onsite registration and Conference check-in begins Sunday, July 12, 1998 (submit manuscripts for Proceedings)
• Program runs from 8 AM Monday (July 13) through 1 PM Friday (July 17).
• On each day (Mon.&endash;Fri.), each symposium is assigned a session number from 1 up to 5&endash;8.
• Hyatt meeting room codes: A, B, C, E, F, G, BL (Bluegrass), BU (Buckeye), see floor plan linked to Meeting Site page.

Notes: Lecture codes will appear in the printed program booklet. In a code such as "LM1-1" L designates lecture, MTWHF the day of presentation, 1 the number assigned to the lecture session, and -1 the order of the presentation in its session. In "P-100", P designates poster, and 100 the poster number. Poster sessions are A (Tu) or B (Th). A unique abstract # was assigned to every presentation for internal purposes; for convenience, these ## are included in the calendar version of the oral presentation schedule (see below).

The oral program on each day of the Conference may be viewed in calendar format (look for current version code & date in upper left corner of the Monday schedule). Use the · buttons to navigate to next or previous day, 1 2 3 4 5 buttons to jump to M T W H F, and the s button to return to this page.

Changes

(6/20/98):

• Added button navigation between days to improve usability.
• Changes/corrections through 6/20 have been entered.

(6/4/98):

• Color scheme redone to improve readability. Colors are now consistent for multi-day symposia. Within limitations, related colors were assigned to related symposia, e.g. red to bio.
• Changes/corrections through 6/4 have been been entered.
• Symposia session numbers/times/titles/chairs (rightmost column on daily page) now presented in AM and PM groups. In each group, items listed from top to bottom correspond to symposia speaker columns read from left to right for AM, then PM. AM symposia which continue in PM are listed again in the PM group but by number and time only. This change makes it possible to print the schedule on a non-color printer without losing the linkage between the speaker columns and the symposia information.
• File format changed to speed up download to your browser and improve image quality.
• Important: the order of the speaker columns (left to right, AM to PM) and the daily symposium session numbers are the same as in previous versions. The speaker sequences and times are unaffected (in one or two cases, speakers have been moved for specific reasons).
