  • Instructions to Authors:

Abstract: A 300-word abstract must be submitted by 9 January 2006 via the 4WCSCM web site on the Abstract Submission page, including the following: (1) The contact information for the corresponding author, (2) Abstract Title, (3) List of Authors (first name, middle initial and last name) and their affilliation (e.g., "University of California, San Diego") as it will appear in the program, (4) Abstract, and (5) the last name of the session organizer (for organized sessions) or the appropriate review committee. Only original material must be submitted. Abstracts should contain enough detail to clearly convey the approach and results of the research. Applicants will be notified of acceptance by 28 February 2006.

Papers: Accepted papers must not exceed 8 pages in length (single-spaced, including figures, tables, etc.). Final papers must be submitted online in PDF format using the 4WCSCM Paper Maintenance web pages by 4 July 2006; authorship, affiliations, contact information and abstract text can also be updated. The following are paper format instructions and templates:

Presentations: Computer projectors will be available in all session rooms; presenters should bring their own laptop to use for the presentation. (Overhead projectors will not be used.) 15 minutes is alloted for each paper (including time for questions and swapping laptops); so presentations should probably be 11 or 12 minutes long.

Participants are strongly encouraged (but not required) to restrict themselves to presenting one paper; those submitting multiple abstracts are requested to have co-authors present additional papers.
