Working experiences

Design engineer, Technical office of Yadman Sazeh co. (the client of Milad Tower Complex), 2003-2005
  • Worked on retrofitting of Tehran Convention Center - the largest convention center in Iran. The retrofitting was done by prestressing the roof trusses.
  • Conducted a large-scale in-situ experiment to evaluate the induced stresses in the members of the trusses of Tehran Convention Center.
  • Worked on nonlinear dynamic analysis of Milad Tower – the world 4th tallest tower.

Research Assistant, University of Tehran,
2004-2005
  • Worked in a research board on seismic evaluation and retrofitting of Tehran Tower. This 56 story building is the tallest reinforced concrete building in a high seismic risk zone. The objective is to evaluate the structure in compliance with FEMA 356 provisions and propose recommendations for retrofitting.
