Associate Engineer, Petroleum Structures (pdf)

This is an open examination - Statewide

No written test required. Interviews to be held in June/July 2007 scheduled in Long Beach and/or Hercules.
Bring phot ID or two forms of signed identification

Experience: Three years of increasingly responsible experience in civil, structural or petroleum engineering involving design, construction, inspection, or maintenance of structures, such as drilling platforms, marine terminals, oil/gas pipelines, or oil and gas processing facilities. Graduate degree in Civil, Structural, or Petroleum Engineering may be substituted for one year of this experience. 
AND 
Education: Equivalent to graduation from college with major work in civil or structural engineering 

Position: Under supervision, perform journey level engineering work in regard to various petroleum engineering structures such as offshore drilling platforms, marine terminals, offshore moorings, and oil/gas pipelines. See above PDF for full list of tasks and further detailed information.
 
Salary Range: $6,838 - $8,304 per month
