- Project coordinator position

We are a Los Angeles based mid-sized general contractor located in Wilshire Center - Koreatown area. We are seeking for a project coordinator to join our team. Essential duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
• Coordinate and schedule for multiple projects.
• Review project blue prints and estimate quantity of materials for individual projects.
• Pull permits at building departments in different cities.
• Position deals with superintendents, architects, and subcontractors, both via phone and correspondence.

Qualifications:
• Degree and/or background in Architecture, Civil engineering or Construction Management.
• Working knowledge of architecture and mechanical drawing a plus (propensity to learn quickly, a must)
• Bilingual in English and Korean
• Excellent attention to detail, strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and to prioritize assignments.
• Ability to learn quickly and adapt to change as needed
• Strong desire to learn and take on more responsibility over time.
• Ability to work under pressure and to meet deadlines a must.
• Excellent business judgment and a healthy dose of common sense.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office Software (Excel, Outlook, Word, etc…)
• Must enjoy and excel at working with people.
• Enthusiastic, eager to learn and a team player.

Position is full-time and starts as soon as possible. There is also a potential opening for a part-time position as well which will be a supporting position for project coordinators.
