During the Student Achievement Award ceremony of the Viterbi School of Engineering held on April 30, 2007, two seniors of the Civil and Environmental Engineering department - Roy Xu and Zenzile Brooks - received prestigious awards for their academic achievement and service accomplishment.

Roy Xu - The David M. Wilson Associates Award for Academic Excellence in Civil and Environmental Engineering.

This award honors the student with the highest GPA.

Zenzile Brooks - The Center for Engineering Diversity Service Award.
This award recognizes a senior who has enhanced our understanding of diversity through academic achievement, leadership and outstanding service to the Center for Engineering Diversity as well as the Viterbi School.
