Spring 2010 Academic Advisement

All Civil and Environmental Engineering majors have an advisement requirement and must meet with an advisor to get D-clearance and/or register for Spring 2010 classes.

Declared majors and minors may be advised during the same time periods based on class standing. Advisement is not required for minors unless they need D-clearance. Class standing is based on number of units COMPLETED and does not include current classes. The online Schedule of Classes and your registration time will be available online (www.usc.edu under OASIS) beginning October 5.

Class Standing	Student Affairs Advisement will take place:
Seniors (96+ units completed)	October 19-29
Juniors (64-95 units completed)	October 30-November 6
Sophomores (32-63 units completed)	November 9-12
Graduate Students, Seniors, Juniors, and Sophomores	November 12-24

Students are required to meet with their assigned faculty advisor before they meet with a Student Affairs advisor. Faculty advisors are available to meet with their assigned students beginning October 12.

Arrive on time! If you are more than 10 minutes late or miss your appointment, you MUST reschedule your advisement appointment for late-November. If you are unable to attend your scheduled meeting, call (213) 740-0587 at least 24 hours ahead to reschedule.
