August 20-21– OIS Orientation (International Students)
August 21 – Last Day to Register and Settle Without a Late Fee

August – Civil and Environmental Engineering New Student Welcome

August 24 – Fall Semester Classes Begin

September 11 – Last Day to Add/Drop Without a W

November 2 – Deadline for Thesis/Dissertation Submission

November 13 – Last Day to Drop With a W

November 26-28 - Thanksgiving Recess

December 4 – Last Day of Classes

Congratulations on your admission to graduate study at the University of Southern California Viterbi School of Engineering. The information below is intended to assist you with the transition to graduate school at USC. Please send email at ceedept@usc.edu or call at (213) 740-0587 if you have questions.

First, however, go to http://viterbi.usc.edu/admission/graduate/intent_to_enroll_form.htm and fill in the Intent to Enroll form and submit it. It is important for you to reserve your space in the entering class.

International Student Test of English (ISE test)

****Required of all new international students unless formally waived. ***

International students who have to take the International Student Test of English must do so before registering for classes. They can receive departmental advisement before taking the test
