- Test connections taken form a damaged steel frame (building
demolished).
- Test in existing condition to evaluate residual strength.
- Repair connections using recommended procedures and retest.
- Use 3D Nonlinear analyses to estimate connection loading.
- Use nonlinear finite element analysis to predict force vs.
displacement (hysteresis) curve and stress strain distributions.
- Perform hardness surveys across connection and cut tensile
coupons from webs and flanges of specimens.
