2008 Homeland Security S&T Stakeholders Conference West

The 2008 Homeland Security S&T Stakeholders Conference West takes place January 14-17 in the Los Angeles Convention Center, presented by the National Defense Industrial Association (NDIA) with subject matter support provided by the Science & Technology (S&T) Directorate of the Department of Homeland Security. The State of California Governor’s Office of Homeland Security is a key participant in the event. The purpose of the conference is to inform First Responders, state and local governments, industry, and academia of the direction, emphasis, scope, and status of the research investments by the Department of Homeland Security Science & Technology Directorate, and to describe the business opportunities for private sector organizations and universities.
