Batting:
Dean Jayasinghe scored a century(112 runs) against Caribbean on 05/19/96
and was awarded a trophy by the SCCA for his century.

Venu scored 203 runs in the league season with an average of 50.75 and would
have easily topped the division batting averages had he met the minimum
requirement of playing 9 games(the highest average being 33.0)
Ashwin Rao scored 330 runs in the league season with an average of 30.0. He
finished 3rd on batting aggregate as well as on batting averages in the division.
Atul Raj scored 312 runs in the league season with an average of 28.36
Bowling:
Swaminathan Krishnan had three 5 wicket hauls: against Brittamar on
06/23/96, against Inland Empire I on 06/30/96 and against Hollywood II
in the playoff semifinal game. He took a hat-trick
against British Dominion on 07/13/96 and was awarded a trophy by the SCCA for
his hattrick.
He took 31 wickets in the
league season which was second best only to Brittamar's Basit Bargoob's 32
wickets. However, Krishnan topped the bowling averages in the division and
was awarded a trophy by the SCCA for the best bowling average of 5.40 runs
per wicket.
Aravindan Wijechandran took 27
wickets in the league season, Mervyn Fernando took 26 and Arvin Varma took 22.
Fielding:
Arvin Varma held 12 catches in the league season which is the highest number
of catches held in the division. The SCCA awarded him with the "best
fielder" trophy.
Wicket-keeping:
Ashwin Rao had the second highest number of wicketkeeping dismissals in the
division with 15 catches and 2 stumpings. He also held 3 catches as a fielder.
