Hi guys:

YES! we exacted revenge on Inland Empire I!  In 107 degree weather, I lost
that vital toss and we were asked to field.  Colts toiled.. we got burnt,
roasted, grilled.....   In fact we deviated from SCCA policy and had two
water breaks after the 14th & 28th overs.  The bowlers, despite conceding 19
extras destroyed the opposition.  The fielding was good under the conditions
prevalent.  Swami was once again the wrecker with 5/25! (His second 5 wicket
haul in as many games!)  Dr. Cyril and Mervyn had 2 wickets each for 25 & 31
respectively.  I had 1/19.  Inland Empire got 143 in 32.2 overs.

Colts got off to a great start thanks to some sensible batting by Dean and
Atul - the best start yet!  We got 147/5 in 29.1 overs.  Venky Panchapagesan
was unbeaten on 54.  Atul got 28, Dean 21, and Venky Kulkarni 18.  Colts
thus romped home by 5 wickets!
