TCC A v/s TCC B, Feb 16th, 1996 at Cromwell Athletics Field

Result: TCC A defeated TCC B by 13 runs.

Report:

TCC A started smoothly with Anoop and Ashwin scoring a couple of boundaries
but they really gained momentum when Arvin opened out with 3 boundaries
in one over. Chakri played a sweet knock with a six and a four and towards the
end, Venu displayed some fireworks with one six and two fours. TCC A amassed a
big score of 115/7 in the alloted 16 overs.

TCC B started well with Rashid looking very confident. But Chakri put
the brakes on them with two vital wickets and when Arvin and Venu picked
some more wickets, TCC B were virtually out of the game. However, Shivanand
who was the last man in had other plans. With only one wicket left and 
almost 40 runs to get, Shivanand began the ran chase and very succesfully
too with some big hitting, clearing the fence repeatedly. Arvin was brought
into the attack and he got Shivanand when 14 runs were left to win.
