Functional morphology and paleoecology of mammalian carnivores:

Integrating paleontological and biomechanical approaches to study questions of ecomorphologies in fossil carnivoran guilds. One focus is on carnivorans with craniodental morphology indicative of bone-cracking by comparing potentially convergent adaptations in extant hyenas and extinct hyenas and dogs.
