Brianna Kennedy

Brianna Kennedy is a Provost Fellow and a research associate with the Center on Educational Governance. She began the doctoral program in education at the University of Southern California in the fall of 2005. Brianna received her bachelor's degree in liberal studies, with emphases in sociology and philosophy, from the University of California, Riverside. She then completed the Teacher Education Program at the University of California, Los Angeles, and received an M.Ed. Brianna taught middle school for the Los Angeles Unified School District for seven years, half of which were spent teaching community day school. Her interests include alternative education, marginalized youth, early adolescence, and evaluation theory.
