Brent Davies is Professor of International Leadership Development at the University of Hull, United Kingdom. He is also Professorial Fellow at the University of Melbourne; Visiting Professor at the Institute of Education, London University; and Special Professor at the University of Nottingham, UK. He has published over 60 articles and 16 books on leadership and management, including: Leading the Strategically Focused School (2006); Essentials of School Leadership (2005); Strategic Direction and Development of the School (2003): and, The Handbook of Educational Leadership and Management (2003). Brent is a national and international expert on strategic leadership. Currently he is studying the roles of the public and private sectors in education in both the United States and the United Kingdom.
